Starting today, it is now cheaper for Mountain View Library cardholders to visit many of the incredible museums the Bay Area has to offer.
We are excited to announce that with the generous support of the Friends of the Mountain View Library, our patrons now have access to Discover & Go - a service that allows you to use your library card to reserve and print free and discounted tickets to over 40 participating museums and cultural heritage institutions across the Bay Area!
Discount rules vary by destination. There are a limited number of passes available for each location and they go quickly, so it is best to reserve passes in advance. Pass availability and details for each attraction can be found by logging in to the Mountain View Discover & Go site at https://mountainview.discoverandgo.net/
|The Exploratorium in San Francisco offers Discover & Go users free admission for 2 people, valid for daytime use only.|
|The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose offers discounts of $2-$3 off combo tickets (general admission + IMAX) for up to 6 people.|
Here are the steps to follow to begin reserving your passes today:
- Visit our Discover & Go site at https://mountainview.discoverandgo.net/
- Enter your library card number and PIN (just like you do when you check out books or eBooks).
- Choose a date on the calendar on the left side of the page.
- Scroll through the list to find the museum or attraction you want to visit.
- Click on Reserve Pass.
- Print your pass!
